Morningstar Direct Loading Card
I created four proposals for the image that briefly appears while Morningstar Direct, an investment software, loads. Users will only see this card for 1-2 seconds when they sign in.
I was asked to convey "speed" and "optimism" in my designs. After I brainstormed every interpretation of those words, I found some motifs that I liked - Light = Optimism, Movement Lines = Speed. You can see those particularly reflected in the first three designs.
